Welcome to Canine And
Company’s Training Academy!
Training
Center Introduction
All of our training is done with Positive
Reinforcement techniques. Colleen Donovan is the Dean of our
Training Center. She graduated from Canisius College in 2004 with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Deciding that
a career in the animal field was something she was more passionate
about, she worked to earn certification as a dog trainer from the
Animal Behavior College. She completed a 4 month externship at the
Lee Mannix Center for
Canine Behavior in Austin, TX, and earned Certified Trainer Status
in 2009. While in Austin, she did both training and kennel work at a
local boarding and playcare facility and was a Senior Dog Caretaker
at the Central Texas SPCA. Colleen has been a member of the Canine
and Company staff since October of 2009. Her goal is to keep her
classes fun and clients interested in learning to train their dogs
in a positive way.

Programs:
Going on
vacation and looking to board your dog? Choose our Board and Train
Program. Your dog will enjoy play time with lots of new friends as
well as 5 to 6 obedience training sessions daily. After a long day
of play and school, your pup will settle in with his friends for a
good night’s sleep, so he is all rested to do it again the next day.
Not going out of town or can't bear to be without your furry friend
for the night? Try our Bootcamp Program. Similar to our Board and
Train program, your dog will enjoy daily play time and obedience
training. Simply drop your pup off at our facility in the morning
and pick him up in the evening.
